Dunn and Apell Accounting offers notary services for your convenience. Once your documents are notarized, we can also help you make any necessary copies. Notary services are available to the public during regular business hours.
Please call prior to your visit to check staff availability.
Why do documents need to be notarized?
At times, documents must be notarized to become legal or to have a legal effect. Because of the significance of such documents, state governments require a trained individual to provide the notary services. A trained individual, known as a “notary public,” performs as a quasi-public officer, ensuring the proper execution and notarization of your important documents.
Arrive prepared
Wisconsin law requires you to provide a valid driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID. Your ID will be used by the Notary Public to verify your identity prior to notarizing your document(s).
Some documents may also require a signature witness in addition to the Notary Public. Please call ahead to ensure the proper staff is available prior to your visit.
We can notarize the following types of documents:
- Wills
- Trusts
- Deeds
- Contracts
- Affidavits
Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
